Equipping Christians for Ministry.
The School of the Servants is a 4-year seminar-based education program (in partnership with Faithlife MobileEd) for anyone in our church, completely free of charge. The goal of this program is to equip Christians (normal Christians) for ministry (in their homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, communities, and the world).
This course of study is made up of three components: (1) Bible classes, (2) Theology classes, and (3) Ministry classes, and the class schedule is designed to accommodate the normal work and schedule limitations of most laypeople: 4 one-day Saturday seminars and 1 Summer class (13 weeks, Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm). The Bible Study Tools Workshop is a practical hands-on tutorial of Logos Bible Software (which is also available to every member of the church free of charge) and will be also offered twice this year as an optional Saturday-morning seminar.
The School of the Servants will meet on the following dates in 2023, with the following subjects being covered this year (Year 1 of 4; dates are subject to change). See also this 4-Year course layout to see what is in store for the School of the Servants.
